The Museum of Chinese in America honored Dr. Chao with its Inaugural Outstanding Lifetime Achievement Award

The Chao family was awarded the 2010 Museum of Chinese in America (MOCA) Legacy Award. This was the first time that a family, rather than individual, was awarded such an honor and it reflects the Chao family’s lifelong gifts to the Chinese-American community.
