SUNY Maritime College to Honor Dr. James S.C. Chao and Angela Chao
Dr. James S.C. Chao and Angela Chao will both be honored by SUNY Maritime College at their 2018 Admiral’s Scholarship Dinner. The event will be held on May 1, 2018, at Marina del Rey in Throggs Neck. Also to be honored at the dinner is Joseph Byrne from the Class of ’89. Byrne is Vice President and Senior Operations Manager at Turner Construction. Richard du Moulin, President of Intrepid Shipping, will serve as Master of Ceremonies.
The Admiral’s Scholarship Dinner is the chief fundraising event to support scholarships for underprivileged students. Last year, SUNY Maritime College was able to award in excess of $500,000 in scholarships thanks to the funds raised at the 2017 Admiral’s Dinner.
